Book Review - Black Coffee

I chose to read Black Coffee by Agatha Christie as my second book in the reading challenge.

Sir Claud Amory is an inventor and has a formula for some new kind of explosive but it happens to get stolen. He then calls upon the help of Hercule Poirot, alas just before Poirot and Hastings arrives, Sir Claud is found dead in the sitting room just minutes after the room was plunged into darkness.

Poirot has the task of trying to find the killer among the assorted family and guests, all with their own worries and problems. Is it the son who needs money or the strange doctor visiting the family?

I love to read Agatha Christie novels, they keep you in suspense and they are not difficult to follow. Hercule Poirot is always good with his little strange habits and his sidekick Hastings is also fun.

This novel is quite short so it should not take long to read, well worth reading.
