During the summer holiday Alessio and myself along with my parents spent one week in England in The Cotswolds. One of the highlights of that week was the day we spent in Oxford. We all are fans of the TV show Lewis/Morse so we were excited to see some of the sights in Oxford.

Once we arrived and had a coffee we wondered around looking at the many great sights, such as the Ashmolean Museum, the Sheldonian Theatre, Clarendon Building and the Saxon Tower. Our plan was to go on a walking tour of the Oxford colleges which form Oxford University. After a bit of research I managed to find out which colleges I had taken photos of, so hopefully they are right. We also went into the grounds of Wadham College too.

Our tour guide was extremely good, funny and very informative his name was Vinny, sadly cannot remember the name of the actual tour. I would recommend him though!  We visited Balliol College, the Bodleian Library and the Divinity School.  The Divinity school also features in two Harry Potter films as the infirmary where some of the characters recuperate!

We had a late lunch in a pub called The King`s Arm in and our guide came along too for a drink! Then we walked pass the oldest pub in Oxford called The Bear Inn, sadly we did not have enough time for some refreshments.
