Alessio and I are just back from our trip to Croatia and Montenegro, we all had a great time and photos will follow.

We did have an adventure getting back to Zurich though, it started with a 9 hour delay because of bad weather in Dubrovnik. Finally arrived in Vienna around 11.15pm, since most of the passengers were also transfering to other flights which they missed too, we all got new tickets for new flights. Then we waited for everyone to collect luggage and we all walked to a bus to take us to a hotel for the night. One would expect it to be nearby, but no Austrian Airlines decides to take us to a hotel over 70km from the bloody airport. By this time it is passed 1am and we still need to get our rooms, finally around 1.30am Alessio and I can have a rest. The bus back to the airport comes at 5am so really only 3 hours sleep, sadly I did not have an alarm therefore along with two other people we missed the bus back to the airport. Slightly in a panic as my flight should board at 7am, we manage to get a taxi and he drives (thankfully) like a madman and we arrive at 6.40am at Vienna airport. Run through the security and made it to the gate in time!

Hope you all have a lovely Monday!

So it is nearly May already and better get up my reading list for March before my holiday starts! I got through 5 books, a bit less than the last couple of months!

A Gathering Light by Jennifer Donnelly, this is a young adults book.

Easter Pics!

Made by Alessio!

I hope you all had a great Easter weekend! It was a quiet one for me, with Saturday being the busiest of all the days. Alessio got some summer clothes, we saw the film The Boss Baby, which was really funny! We went to the funfair afterwards as it was closed on Good Friday and that was nice! Sunday afternoon went to a friend`s house for dinner and today just went for a short walk around by the lake!

Here are some pics from around the world of Easter! Have a good start to the week!

Afternoon Tea in Zurich!

Saturday afternoon I went for afternoon tea with my lovely friends Hannah, Riikka and Katrina. We had already tried afternoon in a fancy hotel a few years back, so this time we decided to try Cupcake Affair.

We booked for 2.30pm and the table was very nicely laid, so all that was left was to get stuck in. We got lovely sandwiches, cucumber, egg and ham (they were all good) plus scones which was the best part! With clotted cream and jam, you just can`t go wrong! And then some mini cupcakes (sorry the photo is blurred) and small pastries! With black tea to wash it down!

I have been a few times and bought their cupcakes which are always very yummy! The price was 39ch and we all thought it was fantastic! So if you fancy afternoon tea in Zurich, this place is well worth a try!
