Lake Zurich Trail - Section 8

At the beginning of October Alessio and I did section 8 of the trail which is Stäfa to Meilen. It is 11.5km and takes about 2h 30mins, we probably took a bit longer. Once in Stäfa we took the bus up as far as we could, then we walked a bit to meet the trail.
It was a warm day and we stopped often for rests and for snacks, we passed many vineyards as this area is known for wine.

We walked through forests, saw lovely views of the lake and lots of farm land.


From here you can go up to the Pfannenstiel(we did not go) it is the second mountain of Zurich. Here we are reaching Meilen, we started to walk through the Meilemer tobel but took a road down into the town and missed on seeing the ruins of Friedberg castle.

Today we did the last section, but still got section 9 to finish, which I hope to do next Saturday. Happy weekend to everyone!
