Streetart in Vilnius, Lithuania

The October break saw myself and Alessio head off to Lithuania and the capital Vilnius. It is quite well known for the street art and one in particular which I could not find. The one depicting Donald Trump and Putin kissing, it was then changed to them sharing a cigarette. I would have loved to have seen it but sadly it was not to be.

We saw lots of other great works and there was a map where you can visit all the street art, we did see quite a lot but not all. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

The weekend past was in Barcelona and we had a lovely time. We were really lucky to have had really warm weather.

Just two more weeks left to work, well technically seven working days and then we are off to Scotland for Christmas.

Have a great week

Vilnius At Night

Our October break was spent in Vilnius, Lithuania. We had a lovely time and here are night photos I took, so not very many in the end.

Our next trip is to Barcelona in December, looking forward to see what Christmas events there is on offer and of course looking forward to see my father. And last but not least again to see my favourite team play FC Barcelona.

Hope you all had a good weekend

The Bookinn, Vilnius Lithuania

We are back from our holiday in Vilnius, Lithuania, I thought I would share the photos from where we stayed. It was called Bookinn B&B, I chose it because of all the bookish stuff around. At the beginning Alessio was not too impressed as it had no TV, but he soon changed his mind. When we first arrived the driver of our car was not so sure we had arrived at the right place. I had seen lots of photos of the place so I knew it was the right place.

The room it self had two twin beds and really that was all, of course we had our own bathroom. The room was rather cold but they provided a heater. If you came in winter of course not sure if a heater would be enough.

We did not take breakfast as we wanted to sample all the lovely cafes on offer. There were some shelves throughout the place with lots of books, I left 4 books and took one. I liked the place and all the bookish stuff too. But if you are after amenities then this is not your place. You can have breakfast there, we just decided not too.

The full address is Bookinn, Dominikony g. 6. Vilnius 01131 Lithuania
