This is about my life in Zurich, all the places I visit, what I get up to with my son and anything I think is good to blog about.

Kew Gardens
One of the highlights of our trip to London was visiting Kew Gardens, it is the world`s largest collection of living plants plus it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There was lots to see and do, we mainly walked through the gardens looking at the colourful flowers, interesting plants and lovely autumn trees.
The treetop walkaway was opened in 2008, this was one of the parts that I thought Alessio would enjoy. It is 18m high and 200m long, along the route is information about the trees which Alessio liked to read out loud.
We saw loads of squirrels and they were relatively tame considering how close I got to take photos of these cute animals.
We had our lunch here and Alessio got to play at the playground which was a good one. There are also many different buildings and statues to visit and look at, but the one we wanted to visit was closed for renovation Kew Palace.
We really enjoyed our short visit to Kew Gardens!

Photo of the Week - Plants Galore!
A couple of week ago while I was in Zurich I saw this very nice looking (well I like it) facade of a building. I liked that it has lots of plants, a tree and wall plants too. If I was any good with plants and trying to grow them I would like to be surrounded by them. But since I am completely no a green fingers I suffice with the help of others!
So it is nearly the weekend and the beginning of December, I swear that November just zoomed by so fast. Now all the Christmas markets are up and running I may get to visit some at the weekend although Alessio is not so keen on them.

Botanical Gardens Zurich
Thursday before the spring holidays I went with the children from work to the Botanical Gardens in Zurich, we were rather lucky with the weather. Once there we looked at the tadpoles in the pond and there were many as you can see from the first photo. Then the children were able to run up and down a gently sloping hill which they loved to do.
Afterwards we explored the different flowers and plants on offer sadly the greenshouses were closed for renovation but we still had lots of fun. This part of Zurich is nice and nearby there is a great playground where we stayed for one hour.
