This is about my life in Zurich, all the places I visit, what I get up to with my son and anything I think is good to blog about.

MFO Park in Zurich
MFO park is in Oerlikon just behind the train station, I read about it in a design book and wanted to check it out.
It was built in 2002 in what just to be an old machine factory, I can hardly believe it has been there so long as I used to live in Oerlikon right up to 2006 when Alessio was born.
We climbed up to the top and rather surprising Alessio seemed to be scared of the height, which is strange as we have been in higher places. The view is nothing special though. There are lots of places to sit, read, relax or chat to friends. Also in these hot days it would give some welcome shade too! When we visited it was Sunday late afternoon and there were some people relaxing. There is no play area for kids so they would be bored at some point after being there for a while. If you want to read more about it here is a link!
Alessio has only 3 days left of school and then on Monday he flies to Italy for 2 weeks. He really loves a beach holiday so unlike myself!
