Flowers in Bloom

I can safely say that I have taken loads of flower photos. This is just a selection of some of them. Spring is certainly a great season for flowers after the dreary winter where there are not some many flowers to see. I just love to see the colourful displays around. The bottom two photos are from Wädenswil and this garden was really lovely.

I have this week off and we returned from a short break in Lugano on Tuesday where we got one nice day, but not much we can do about the weather. I will do a post about that trip, but suffice to say the flower displays were really fantastic.

Happy mid week

Photos from Zurich Jan to April 2021

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. The weather was mostly nice and warm, except for today, which was cold and windy.

As you can see from the title of this post these are random photos from my jaunts into the city over these last months. The last three photos are from the 1st April and a visit to Belvoir Park with the kids. It had been a while since I was in this park.  It will be even more nicer when more flowers are in bloom.

Wishing a good start to the week

Random Photos from January 2021 to March 2021

Welcome back to myself, it has been 5 months since I last did a post, there was no particular reason but lost my motivation. But now feel like trying again, so here goes. These are photos from around Lake Zurich, in Rüschlikon, Kilchberg, Horgen, Au and Meilen. The tops photos were taken in January and the last two from last week.

I hope to post a bit more regularly from now on, as I still have lots of photos from past travels (remember those days). Talking about travelling, I hope to do more in Switzerland and starting in the Spring holidays, Alessio and I will go to Lugano from 3 days.

Enjoy your week

Elephants Galore

Hello again, I have been AWOL again and in all honesty not that much is happening here. Apart from working and going into the city for a short time during the weekends and going on short walks by the lake, I don't do much else.

In October there was this elephant exhibition in the main station, which was supposed to bring awareness to the plight of the elephant population around the world. Each elephants were designed by different people and they were all very stunning indeed.

Hope you are all doing well and keeping safe and sound
