This is about my life in Zurich, all the places I visit, what I get up to with my son and anything I think is good to blog about.

Poster Wall in Zurich
In Zurich you can see the longest poster wall in the street near to the Limmat. It is in conjunction with the Museum für Gestaltung (Design Museum) the current exhibition is 100 years of Swiss Graphic Design. There are 100 posters to look at, one for each of the past 100 years, I chose the ones I particularly liked the best.
I have often liked to look at the posters scattered around the city, as they are in themselves a work of art. I hope to go to see the Swiss Graphic Design exhibition tomorrow and also there is another one about the Freitag bags. Hopefully I can take some photos and will do a post on it! The poster wall finishes on 24th May so be quick if you want to take a look!

Was going to go and have a look at the posters yesterday while in Zürich but let's say that the weather wasn't really appropriate ;-)
ReplyDelete*sigh* This makes me sad that I can't see this. I love the old Swiss travel posters. Whenever we went to places in CH I would get the postcards of the posters.
ReplyDeleteI also bought a Swiss Travel Poster book from amazon.de before we left. http://www.amazon.de/Tour-Suisse-nostalgische-sch%C3%B6nsten-Pl%C3%A4tzen/dp/3037740019/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336951599&sr=8-1
